The Flipping First Handbook is an ideal resource for any teacher considering the use of the ‘flipped classroom’. The Handbook is packed with ideas, tools and tips designed to help teachers implement high impact, enjoyable ‘flipped lessons’.


The Handbook explore three flipped models: The Whole Class Model, the Carousel Mode and the Managed Homework Model. Within the Handbook are helpful templates such as the Flipped Lesson Plan designed to take the pain out of designing lessons.


There are dozens of links to practical, ‘how-to-style’ resources covering topics such as choosing a Learning Management Platform (LMS), video recording and editing tools, how to curate content and how to define and scope learning objectives and content.


The Handbook also includes the Flipping First ‘Design Framework’ making it easy for anyone who is considering using the flipped classroom for the first time. There is even ideas and tips for the more experienced flipped classroom practitioner!
